Dates from one hand
We do not put the cutting out to contract. The production date depends on our own schedule, not on another firm’s order book.

Our own production
No supplier between the design and the component: we do the cutting ourselves in Kall, on 6,700 m² and one of the largest cutting lines in Germany.
The components of your hall do not come from a changing supplier but from our own plant in Kall: 6,700 m² of production space, a Hundegger K2 Industry and the direct path from the design to the machine. The plant is operated by X-Cam®, our independent sister company.
Besides making our halls, X-Cam® has specialised in machining BauBuche and also does contract cutting for carpentry firms. For your project that means one thing above all: we know every machine that touches your structure — and every date on which it does.
High-tech equipment

One of the largest cutting lines in Germany.
The Hundegger K2 Industry in Kall is among the largest and most capable cutting machines in Germany. With a whole range of units — including a six-axis robot head, a horizontal saw and a deep-hole drill — complex machining is possible with the highest precision.
Component dimensions of up to 1,300 mm wide, 450 mm deep and 32 m long are achievable.
Components up to 32 metres long.
Plant data
The figures for our plant in Kall — floor area, machinery and the limits up to which a component can be made.
The plant is operated by X-Cam GmbH, 53925 Kall — our independent sister company, see www.x-cam.com.
What that means for your build
Making things ourselves is not an end in itself. It decides when your hall will stand and how cleanly it goes together.
We do not put the cutting out to contract. The production date depends on our own schedule, not on another firm’s order book.
From the design it goes via CAD/CAM straight to the machine. What is planned is what is made — with no transcription errors.
Up to 32 metres with no joint. Fewer connections means less assembly time and a calmer structure.

Sustainability and efficiency
Nothing goes to waste at the plant: all timber offcuts are reused to heat the production hall, while 2,003 solar modules on the roof generate green electricity. For us sustainability does not stop at the material — it includes the making.
Our own production

CNC-controlled cutting
Beams, columns, panels and special components.
BauBuche
In recent years the plant has specialised firmly in machining BauBuche — a material that convinces through its high strength, dimensional stability and visual quality. Beams, columns, panels and individual special components are cut under CNC control, with the highest dimensional accuracy and repeatability.
The machining runs on the Hundegger K2 Industry. The direct CAD/CAM link makes the data transfer seamless — from the digital design to the finished component.
Added to that are delivery on schedule and packing suited to the site: the prefabricated components can be used straight away, with no extra logistics.

Individual pieces, system elements or complete structures.
Cutting to order — directly through X-Cam®.
For carpentry firms, too
The plant’s capacity does not serve our halls alone: as an independent company, X-Cam® also takes on contract cutting for carpentry firms and timber contractors — from a single piece through system elements to a complete structure.
For your build that is above all a proof: firms that master timber construction themselves have their parts made here. Anyone wanting to put their own cutting out to contract goes straight to X-Cam® — those enquiries run there, not through us.
And what does X-Cam® actually stand for?
The name X-Cam® is short for the production method it uses, Computer Aided Manufacturing — the fully automatic, millimetre-accurate machining of timber. The plant is operated by our independent sister company in Kall.
